Prep work before class:
Collection of several flower print and leaf print fabrics, roughly cut out flower and leaf designs. Do not cut out the actual flower until you have ironed on the Steam a Seam Light. Bring extra floral fabric scraps to share with class. I have fabric to share as well.
Light box to trace pattern onto fabric. This can be done before or during class. Place pattern underneath fabric with right side of fabric on top. It is helpful to use a bold black marker to enhance the lines on the quilt pattern. Use paper tape to hold fabric i place. I will have some in class if you are not tracing in advance.
If you are piecing your background, this should be done prior to class.
